About Us

The Werrington Local History Group

We are a community of local history enthusiasts dedicated to exploring and preserving the history of Werrington.

We are a friendly group and welcome new members and visitors.

Monthly talks on a wide range of subjects of local and general historical interest are held at Werrington Parish Village Centre and take place on the first Thursday of each month commencing at 7.30pm, apart from in August when we take our summer break.

Membership

Annual Membership runs from October. Current fees for 2025/2026 are: Membership covers all meetings throughout the year and access to the membership portal on our website which will contain our research results, our yearly members newsletter and articles about Werrington and the local area. You can join at any of our monthly meetings. We accept payments in cash or card.
