Annual Group Meeting — 3 September 2026
Werrington Local History Group will be holding it’s Annual Group Meeting on Thursday 3rd September 2026 at 7.30pm.Some of our committee members are continuing their terms or standing for re-election, but there are still places for others on our committee and we would love to welcome new ideas and fresh talent. The short AGM will be followed by a talk by Martyn Thomas about John Norton Collins and Peterborough and District Memorial Hospital. Learn about this remarkable man who was a surgeon at the Peterborough Infirmary and played an important role in the building and development of the Peterborough War Memorial Hospital in the 1920s.
